Manufacturing Virtual Series: The Future of Supply Chain

Wednesday, December 02, 2020, 12:00 PM Eastern Standard Time

Summary

The COVID-19 pandemic has challenged manufacturers in an extraordinary way, with particular stress on their supply chains. Shipman’s exclusive multi-session, virtual summit for manufacturers will take a deep dive into the issues at the forefront of supply chain management during the pandemic, and provide a forward-looking commentary of what the future could hold post-COVID-19.

Colin Cooper, Connecticut’s Chief Manufacturing Officer, will kick off Part 1 of our virtual series with a keynote address to speak directly to the issues manufacturers face and what they can expect in the New Year.

Following Colin’s keynote, we will be joined by Ed Townley, former Chief Executive Officer & President, Agri-Mark, Inc. for the session: Planning for Rapid Organizational Changes. Ed will offer a discussion of how companies can reconfigure and adjust their supply chain in response to volatile supply and shifting demand.

For Part 2 of our virtual series, we will be joined by in-house legal counsel to discuss emerging compliance and legal threats to manufacturers. Timing and logistics for this session will be announced in the coming weeks. All event sessions will explore examples of how the pandemic has affected small, mid-sized and large manufacturers, and how they are planning for the future. Sessions will be interactive and will allow for ample time to ask presenters your most pressing questions.
