Marcum 2024 Manufacturing Forum

We are excited to invite you to participate in a two-part event series that brings together industry leaders and executives from the Connecticut manufacturing community. These events are dedicated to raising awareness of the various sources and opportunities accessible to manufacturers through state and federal programs and produced in collaboration with the State of Connecticut Office of Manufacturing, Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT), and the Connecticut Business and Industry Association (CBIA).

These events are being offered at no cost and will be a great opportunity to have a direct impact on the policies and solutions being implemented.

The first event will take place on April 2, 2024 from 7:30 – 10:00 am at the Sheraton Hotel at 100 Capital Boulevard in Rocky Hill, CT and will focus on CT’s Chief Manufacturing Officer, Paul Lavoie unveiling plans for “Make it Here 2030: The Manufacturing Workforce of Tomorrow”. Paul will be presenting with Commissioner Dan O’Keefe of the Department of Economic and Community Development and Governor, Ned Lamont has been invited to present his views as well. This event will be an interactive workshop where manufacturing leadership can participate and shape the action plan being implemented.

The second event will take place on May 21, 2024 from 7:30 – 11:00 am at the TPC River Highlands at 1 Golf Club Road Cromwell, CT and will focus on Charting the Course for Growth and Innovation: Don’t Get Left Behind. Ron Angelo, President and CEO of Connecticut Center for Advanced Technology (CCAT) and his team will be presenting on the following topics: Innovative Growth Strategies, Operational Excellence, Supply Chain Resilience, Sustainability Practices and Policy and Regulation Compliance.

These events are designed for executive teams to offer insights, learning opportunities, and cooperative interaction. We highly recommend that you send your leadership team, as well as representatives from your human resources, engineering, finance, technology, and design teams to attend this event if possible.
